# “An important step towards making our IT systems more professional”

**To save paper, we have been sending our invoices by email for quite some time. However, we wanted to reduce our paper usage even further and, at the same time, explore whether we could further professionalise our IT systems. We use Exact’s Synergy software package for our financial administration and for recording staff leave. The software supplier who implemented this package for us drew our attention to Elvy.**

Elvy is not only a real paper-saver, but also an important step towards further professionalising our IT systems. This is because Elvy integrates seamlessly with the Exact package. With the help of Elvy, we now scan not only our purchase invoices, delivery notes and packing lists, but also staff contracts, employees’ ID documents and letters from the tax authorities.

For us, one of the key benefits is that we now have access to essential information anytime, anywhere. This is particularly important for a company like ours that operates internationally. Our customers and business contacts operate in different time zones, which means we may occasionally need to access certain information late in the evening, even when we’re already at home.

**Retrieval**

In addition, Elvy saves us a lot of time because we can easily find invoices, delivery notes and packing lists. This also enables us to respond quickly to enquiries from customers and business partners. Which, of course, contributes to Scandia’s positive image amongst its customers and business partners.
